The Henderson Mayor and Board of Aldermen will meet at 7 p.m. tonight at the city hall chambers.
Items on the agenda include:
- to consider final action on amending the zoning of the property at Fire Station #1 (505 Sanford Street) and the adjacent lot (the proposed site of the new CC911 Communication Center) from R-1 (Residential) to B-4 (Highway Business), to have a public hearing on the proposed rezoning, to consider the ordinance to rezoning on the final reading.
- to consider approval of a Resolution authorizing the application and local matching funds for a Property Conservation Matching Grant Program through the city’s insurance pool.
- to authorize taking bids and allowing acceptance of the best bid on coating the roofs at 60 Record Drive (Utility) and 760 US 45 North (Maintenance Shop).
- authorize the purchase of a pickup truck on state contract for the utility department.
And any other business.
