Valedictorian Lillie McCarver has been selected to receive the annual scholarship given to a Chester County High School graduate for the 2019-20 class. McCarver graduated with a GPA of 99.75. This is the highest grade point average since this scholarship has been given by the club. The scholarship is known as the Dr. Kathy Mays Memorial Scholarship. Dr. Mays served as the Chester County Superintendent from 1976-1996, and was one of the founders of the community club. The scholarship is for $1,000 and McCarver can use it to attend the college of her choice.
