ISAAC GREGORY Obituary – April 11, 2003 – April 7, 2023

Isaac Vann Gregory, 19, of Henderson passed away April 7, 2023, at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel with David Tull officiating.
There will be a family graveside service at Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at East Main Chapel from 5-8 p.m. on Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. https://www.stjude.org.
He was born April 11, 2003, son of George Louis and Rebecca Carol Vann Gregory. He grew up in Moody, Ala., and then Henderson where he was a 2021 graduate of Chester County High School.
He was a member of the Chester County High School Band and was Saxophone Section Leader. He was active in the Youth Groups at Bethel Baptist Church and Englewood Baptist Church where he was a member. 
He enjoyed video games, 3D printing and cooking. He was witty and well liked, and as a patient at St. Jude Hospital, he was an inspiration to the nurses because of his encouraging positive attitude.
He is survived by his parents, George Louis and Rebecca Carol Vann Gregory of Henderson; two sisters, Victoria Rose Gregory and Heather Elizabeth Gregory, both of Henderson; and his grandparents, William Flinn Gregory and Ikey Bickel Gregory of Rutledge, Ala.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Aaron Vann and Fannie Lou Vann Mitchell, and his step-grandfather, Papa ‘Mitch’ Mitchell.
