The Henderson Police Department has charged Jerry Alton Hart with the Jan. 4, 2020 armed robbery at Save-A-Lot. “Investigators have worked extremely hard on this case,” said Henderson City Chief of Police Gary A. Davidson, “and I am grateful we are able to charge him in connection with this robbery. This is still an active investigation, and we will be working with other agencies and the court system to ensure that maximum justice is served for the victim of this crime.”
In addition to other recent charges, recorded in the previous two editions of the Chester County Independent, Hart has been charged with aggravated robbery and unlawful possession of a weapon. He continues to be held in the Chester County Jail on $250,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Chester County General Sessions Court at 9 a.m. Jan. 28.
