LARRY BRAY Obituary – Oct. 17, 1946 – April 14, 2022

William Larry Bray, 75, of Beech Bluff passed away April 14, 2022.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday, April 18, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue Chapel with Bro. Glenn Harris and Bro. Bobby Bray officiating.
Burial followed in New Friendship Cemetery.
The family received friends at Crook Avenue Chapel from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. service time on Monday.
He was born Oct. 17, 1946 in Jackson, the son of the late William Franklin and Clara Elizabeth Holder Bray. He grew up in Henderson and attended Chester County High School.
He lived on the family farm his entire life in the New Friendship community.
He was a lifetime member of Friendship Baptist Church.
He worked many years at Bemis Cotton Mill as an electrician and maintenance supervisor. He also worked at Borderman Print, Tool Products and most recently Moltan.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed farming with his brother and son. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, target shooting and working with tools and woodworking projects in his shop.
He is survived by his wife, Judy O’Dell Bray; a daughter, Lisa Bray; one son, Kirk (Nicki) Bray; two grandchildren, Will Bray and Luke Bray, all of Beech Bluff; a brother, Bobby (Linda) Bray of Beech Bluff; and several nieces and nephews.
