On March 20, the men’s golf team played in the first round of the Blue Mountain Golf Classic today at Mossy Oak Golf Club, shooting 342 as a team.
EJ Hill was up first for the team. The junior shot 81 (+9) to put him in a tie for 34th place. Following just one stroke behind Hill was senior Bowman Blocker with a 82 (+10). Junior Austin Warren and junior Tyler Rhodes were next with 89 (+17) and 90 (+18) respectively. Rounding out the lineup for the Lions was sophomore Ben Shelton, shooting 91 (+19). The team sits in 12th place, 10 strokes behind Brescia (Ky.) University.
