Chickasaw State Park was filled Monday with visitors taking full advantage of the park’s amenities. People were camping, swimming, fishing, using the paddle boats and boards, horseback riding, playing tennis, cooking out and more. Pictured above, Asahi Japanese Restaurant of Jackson gathered at the lakeside pavilion Monday for their company picnic. Employees visited together over the day’s delectable menu.

The Macon family enjoyed a cook-out at Gene Record Memorial Park Monday afternoon in Henderson. Pictured are, clockwise from bottom left, Lola, Amanda, Marc, Amiya and DJ. Other park visitors spent the day playing on the playground and splash pad and walking, jogging and more.
