Mia Hurst and Dalton Colbert earn 2021 Chester County Independent Athletic Award

Athletes of the Chester County High School Class of 2021, Mia Hurst and Dalton Colbert were awarded the 2021 Chester County Independent Athletic Excellence Award.
The Chester County Independent Award is presented annually to the senior athletes at the school who have given the most to the CCHS athletic department throughout their four years at the school, as chosen by the coaches.
Hurst has excelled on both the court and field during her years of playing on the high school girls basketball team and the high school softball team.
This young lady was able to make All-District and All- Tournament as early as her freshman year in basketball.
Throughout her four years in basketball she was three-time All-District winner, four-time All-Tournament player and earned All-Region her senior year.
In softball, she earned All District her sophomore and senior year.
Due to her skills on the court, she will continue her basketball career at the University of Tennessee at Martin.
Chester County Eagle Dalton Colbert is soon to be a Freed-Hardeman Lion after proving his athletic ability during his high school basketball career.
Colbert is a three-time All-District athlete and also earned All-Tournament his sophomore year.
Furthermore, both Hurst and Colbert scored over 1,000 points while being a part of the Chester County High School Basketball program.
