Sending out a Happy Veteran’s Day wish to all those that have served and continue to serve in our Armed Forces. I encourage all of you to reach out to a veteran you know and just say, “Thank you for your Service.” Unless you are one or have family that has served, it is hard to understand how much those simple words mean. I can say from experience that it touches their heart when recognized by people.
Hope that everyone had a happy and safe Halloween. The events that did take place seemed to go very well, and our second twin, Lachlan Cox, came home from the NICU on Saturday. The boys are back together, and Mom and Dad are adjusting. Again, we just want to thank everyone for all the wonderful prayers and give thanks to God for the blessings received due to those prayers. May each of you have a very blessed week.
All membership dues that were not paid for 2020 and the ones for 2021 are currently due. Dues are $25 per year and can be mailed to Ann Moore at 2715 State Rt. 225, Henderson, TN 38340. This is the final call for dues to be paid for the 2020 and 2021 years. We need to get this matter resolved no later than Nov. 15, and we thank all of you that have already paid.
Montezuma sends out happy belated birthday wishes to Larry Patterson for Nov. 1 and happy birthday wishes to Jessica Fuqua on Nov. 7, Charles Monk, Jr. on Nov. 9, Tommy Burkhead and Madeline Fontana on Nov. 10 and Willie Davidson on Nov. 11.
With so much unrest in our country, I pray that each of you believers will be praying continually for the situation, our government and salvation for the lost. Please pray for Jake Richardson, Ashley Pugh, Jake Holt Burkhead, Michael Moody, Chad Lott, Faye Morrison, Joyce Beecham, Doug Thomas, Tavish and Lachlan Cox, Ann Morrison, Jessie Pugh, Faye Crouse, Nancy Thomas, Ed and Betty Morris, healthcare workers and law enforcement.
We especially want to remember the families of RD Smith (former sheriff of Chester County), Carroll Williams, Ann Wallace Bailey, Junior Rinks and other families that have recently lost loved ones.
Please call Betty Cooper at 879-9078 to book the use of the community center.
