Negative rapid C-19 test results not acceptable for return to school of Chester County students

Since last Tuesday, active Chester County COVID-19 has risen from 72 cases to 99 with a total of 19 COVID related deaths. There have been 901 confirmed cases in Chester County.
On Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 17, The Tennessee Department of Health notified Chester County School nurses that TDH would not allow the negative rapid COVID-19 test results in order for children to return to school.
As of Monday Nov. 16, a total of 115 school-age children of Chester County had tested positive for the Coronavirus with 15 cases being active.
