Hello to all from this little corner of the world. It was cloudy Sunday, and the temperature was 77 degrees. The future forecast shows a chance of rain through June 23 with temperatures increasing toward the end of this time period. As we all know, this could change at the drop of a hat. I do not know how or when anyone can mow. I guess dodge raindrops! I know it is not good for mowers to be used on wet grass. My dad used to scrape underneath his mower after each mowing. James does about every other. Our birds continue to come as long as food is out and are quick to return when it is refilled. I think the yellow finches enjoy warmer, sunnier weather. Time will tell.
The crops are really growing. I am sure most, if not all, farmers are glad for the rain as we do not know if a long dry spell is coming. I wish you all the best this growing period.
Condolences to all who have lost loved ones.
Happy birthday to Mallan Morris and Will Seaton, 7-9, and De Scott, 7-13.

“Worry No More” by Helen Steiner Rice – “Have you ever felt you must explain and deny/A story that’s groundless or a small whispered lie/Have you ever heard rumours you would like to refute/Or some telltale gossip you would like to dispute/Well, don’t be upset, for God knows the score/And with God as your judge you need worry no more/For men may misjudge you, but God’s verdict is fair/For He looks deep inside and is deeply aware/Of every small detail in your pattern of living/And always He’s fair and lenient and forgiving/And knowing that God is your judge and your jury/Frees you completely from man’s falseness and fury/And secure in this knowledge let your thoughts rise above/Man’s small shallow judgments that are so empty of/God’s goodness and greatness in judging all men/And forget ugly rumours and be happy again.”
I pray you all have a wonderful week and may it be filled with love, joy, peace and blessings. Remember: if you have news, please email me at mimmiepots@gmail.com. I would truly appreciate any news. People from here and those who have moved from our area but still want to keep in touch through the newspaper are hungry for news from home. Until next week, Happy Trails to You.
