As the school year draws to a close, Chester County High School students find themselves in the middle of End of Course testing, sports games, and end-of-the-year preparations. To support those who are taking the English I and II EOCs, The National English Honors Society sponsored donuts for each student. Exams can be very stressful for students and teachers alike, so we are grateful for their contribution to making a more comfortable environment at the high school.
In other news, our sports teams had another great week! The softball team defeated Scotts Hill, while the baseball team easily ran through North Side and Jackson Christian. The boys’ soccer team was also victorious over McNairy on Thursday Night. Meanwhile, in their meet on Thursday night, the girls’ track team placed first, and the boys placed fifth. Unfortunately, the tennis match was canceled, but we look forward to seeing how they do this week!
For the seniors, these last few weeks are critical. All seniors received their caps and gowns last week and will also have the opportunity to buy tickets for the senior prom in the next two weeks! They were also given calendars for graduation week, including awards day, baccalaureate, field day, and graduation. As a senior myself, I find it difficult to believe that we are about to cross the finish line and move on to the next chapter of our lives. Thank you for always supporting Chester County High School! Have a great week!
