At Chester County High school this week students are closing up this academic year, while preparing for next year. This is the last week of state testing to see what all the students have learned throughout the past 180 days. However, on Friday, there will be class elections for Student Government and Student Council. You can walk down the halls and see campaign posters and students preparing their speeches.
In sports, the Boy’s soccer team has wrapped up their regular season with a final record of 7-2, finishing at the number 1 spot in the district standings. Due to this, the team will be able to host the District Tournament. The team will play their first game of the tournament this coming Tuesday, May 10. The team is led by head coach Bobby Helton, assistant coach Michael Bolton, and seniors Alex Jones, Joshua Puente, Joshua Kuykendall, Pearce Walker, and Cade Thompson. The team is very young and hopes to be a force to reckon with for years to come. Wish them luck as they journey down this road in hopes to make it far.
