This past weekend at Chester County High School, the Eagles took on Marshall County in the first round of the playoffs for football. Emotions were high and everyone was feeling that certain buzz within the school. The Eagles went down by four at the end of the first with the score being 7-3. By halftime, the Tigers were leading 21-10 going into the break. In the third quarter, the Eagles rallied back and cut the deficit back to four with the score being 21-17, but shortly after, Marshall county marched right back down the field to score again, and, after that, the Tigers slowly pulled away from the Eagles to secure their win with a 49-17 victory. Although they lost, I feel as if there is a lot to look forward to next season with the Eagles. It is a young team with lots of potential and I can not wait to see what they have in store for us next season!
I want to continue to thank the City of Henderson and Chester County for their continued support of us here at CCHS.
God Bless and Go Eagles!
