The Chester County Theater program hosted their annual spring musical this past weekend. They performed “Freaky Friday.” I was able to catch up with Hunt Pipkin, a junior, who starred in the musical and asked him a few questions in regard to the show. He responded with, “This performance was a whole lot of fun. It’s great being able to do what I love with my closest friends. Being able to go up on stage is a truly awesome experience.”
In other news, the Chester County Eagles are going to state! This past Monday, the Eagles squared off against Murfreesboro Central Magnet at home. The Eagles went up early and closed out the second half winning 41-29. The Tigers rallied out of half and eventually were able to tie up the game 60 all. But, with a 3-point shot at the buzzer from Quardarius Gains the Eagles were able to secure a 67-65 victory, which will let them advance to the State Tournament in Murfreesboro! Join me in wishing the Eagles the best of luck as they continue down their path!
I want to continue to thank the city of Henderson and Chester County for their continued support of us here at CCHS.
God Bless and Go Eagles!
