Welcome back! Spring Break is now behind us, and we only have a few short weeks left of this school year. With the end of the year drawing ever so closer, our senior activities are coming up soon!
While on Senior events, the Seniors are selling yard signs to celebrate their upcoming graduation. If you would like to spotlight a senior in your life, the order forms are in the office at CCHS. Another highly anticipated event coming up is Prom. Prom is scheduled for Saturday, April 22, and tickets are on sale now. These can be purchased during all lunch shifts at CCHS and are available only to seniors and their dates. After graduation, seniors will get a chance to participate in an event called “Project Graduation.” This is where all seniors can spend possibly one last time as a class before they all go their separate ways into the real world. Project Graduation is a get-together at Brewer Sports Center on Freed Hardeman University’s campus. There will be games, food, jumpers, and so much more. The event will start at 10 p.m. Monday, May 15, following graduation, and will continue until 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 16. As a senior myself, I know you surely do not want to miss out on these opportunities!
In other news, congrats to Mrs. Sain and the CCHS choir on a superior rating, the highest rating, at the choral festival! They received a superior from all three performance judges as well as the sight-reading judge. Their rating at the regional event qualifies them to go to the state choral festival on April 12.
I want to continue to thank the city of Henderson and Chester County for their continued support of us here at CCHS.
God Bless and Go Eagles!
