Our canned food drive was a huge success. The students brought in over 2,900 cans! Mrs. Misty Thomas’ class brought in the most and received a popcorn party. Students that brought in 10 cans were given a day to wear jeans and those that brought in 25 were able to have a dress down day. The items collected were distributed to the Community Soup Kitchen and Eagles Edge. Our community will benefit from all of the donations.
PTS recently treated all students with a snack. They chose from a Rice Krispy treat or fruit snacks. Thank you PTS for treating all of the students.
Our Veteran spotlight was faculty member Adam Link. Mr. Link is a fourth grade teacher assistant, drives a bus, works at a local restaurant and is a college student himself. Everyone at Chester County Middle School thanked him for his service.
The Scholastic Book Fair will be up and going. The dates are Nov. 28-Dec. 9. Students will shop during library classes only. They will accept cash, check, credit card and e-wallet. For more information please visit www.scholastic.com/fairs to set up the e-wallet.
We hope everyone has a great Fall Break, and we look forward to seeing everyone back on Nov. 28. Happy Thanksgiving
