Hope everyone enjoyed the rest of July.
I know many young people will be starting back to school soon and meeting new teachers.
Frankie and Mary Lynn Lambert hosted a festive and enjoyable reunion recently. Mary Lynn shares the following reflections from the event:
“Children of the late Gilbert and Lois Stack gathered at the home of Frankie and Mary Lynn Lambert in Saulsbury for a reunion time. Jan Stack, daughter-in-law of Lee, was the organizer and did a fabulous job planning and catering the event. She chose the party theme – Celebrate America. Most attendees arrived wearing Americana clothing. After a short time remembering Brenda, Michelle led the family in singing a song in honor of Brenda. The meal consisted of Corky’s BBQ and Jan’s catered side dishes and desserts. Tiffany And Thomas Watkins had baked and decorated cupcakes topped with an American flag. To celebrate America, a parade had been planned. Children were dressed in cute little outfits featuring red, white and blue. Parents had decorated their bicycles, tricycles and scooters with flags and streamers. After the parade, the children enjoying swimming while some adults enjoyed pitching washers and corn hole. At the end of the day, the family agreed it had been a great day.”
Please continue to pray for Walter Cooper. He is back at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
