Hello from Enville!
I hope you all had a great week! Winter is here, and it is cold outside. Now, the days will start getting a little longer, which is fine by me! Christmas is also almost here. Merry Christmas to everyone!
I hope everyone has a blessed Christmas with family and friends. As much fun and exciting as it is for us, there are those who have no family close by and may possibly be lonesome and sad. If we are aware of someone, we can say a prayer, visit them or even take a plate of food and goodies to them. We never know what an act of kindness can do for a person.
We had a fun Christmas get-together on Saturday at my sister’s in Pontotoc, Miss. We all enjoyed each other with lots of finger food and many delicious desserts. We played Dirty Santa and had so much fun!
Enville sends out Happy Birthday wishes to Austin Spain on Dec. 29 and Rae Harwell and Danny Swafford on Dec. 30.
Happy Anniversary to Danny and Kay Swafford on Dec. 24 and Nelson and Maxine Crowell on Dec. 25. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
Please continue prayers for all the tornado victims, who have lost everything and some family members; our hearts go out to them. Pray for Deb Finley, Casey Pratt, Florence Stublaski, Lisa Bishop, Amanda Johnson, Inez Cash, Genny Sue Martin, Jimmy Robertson, Agnes Smith, Mary Lee Guyon, Janice and Danny Keen, Jack and Tera O’Neal, Harold and Janice Maness, Robert and Linda Johnson, Rick Ooley, Ashley Pugh, Shirley Hampton, Tim and Tabitha Hampton, Aiden Jones, Ann Pugh, Eugene Springer, Tim Harris, Roger and Sue Henson, our firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, healthcare workers, military and schools, those who have lost loved ones and, as always, each other.
I hope all you kiddos enjoy your Christmas break from school. Be safe and have fun!
If you have news to share, call me at 608-3058, or if you want to rent the community center, call Pat at 688-5125.
Have a blessed week everyone!
