Hello from Enville! Hopefully, everyone is having a great week. We are, as we say around Enville, upright and thankful. Our breakfast group of about 12 is still meeting at Milledgeville Cafe three mornings a week. We enjoy the food and fellowship. There are several conversations going on at the same time. The guys sit on one end of the long table with their shop and mechanic talk while us ladies are on the other talking cooking and shopping. We will be glad when Charlie Kent can join us again. We always look forward to our time together!
Danny and I had a good weekend; my sister Joan and her granddaughter Chelsey from Pontotoc, Miss., came and spent the weekend with us. We always have a great time. We got together with other family, Johnny and Bonnie Johnson, and went to Corinth and ate Chinese food. We enjoyed that!
We are ready to start staying at our campers, but we have them winterized, so I guess we will have to wait awhile. Spring is only 53 days away. We look forward to that! We have been seeing a lot of red birds and blue birds in our yard. They are so pretty!
We want to say congratulations to the students from Enville named to the Fall 2022 UT Martin Chancellors honor roll – Austin Vest, Highest Honors, Laila Goodman, Honors and Elijah Davidson, Highest Honors. We are proud of our students and their accomplishments! Also, congratulations to Ms. Nancy Davidson for being chosen as Jack’s Creek Elementary School’s Teacher of the Year.
Enville sends out Happy Birthday wishes to my sister, Jane Whitten on Jan. 27, Brenda Poupard on Jan. 29, Zander Spain on Jan. 31 and Misty Brewer on Feb. 2. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
Please continue prayers for Robert and Linda Johnson, Lisa Bishop, Agnes Smith, Mary Lee Guyon, Janice and Danny Keen, Florence Stublaski, Ashley Pugh, Shirley Hampton, Della Mixon, Tera O’Neal, Harold and Janice Maness, Nicole Thompson, Amanda Johnson, Ann Pugh, Emily Freeman, Kathy Emerson, Loretta Plunk, Rick Ooley, Mike Pugh, Charlie Kent, Tim Harris, Tim and Tabitha Hampton, Dot Smith, Joann Fowler, Jimmy Robertson, our firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, healthcare workers, military, schools and school board, those who have lost loved ones and, as always, each other.
If you have news to share, call me at 608-3058, or if you want to rent the community center, call Pat at 688-5125. Have a blessed week everyone!
