Hello from Enville! As I write this article, it is Monday, March 20, the first day Spring, but you sure can not tell by the temperatures. I think Mother Nature is about a month behind. I heard on the news this morning that someone should send her a calendar. I thought that was funny!
With all those warm days a little while back, we, as well as my sister, stayed at our campers. We got by last week with no frozen pipes, but with the frigid below freezing temperatures this week, we winterized again on Saturday. I am so ready for it to be spring weather! We had to get our winter clothes back out, especially on Sunday when the temperatures did not get out of the 30s all day. By the time we read this, it is going to be in the upper 70s with possible storms. We wonder why so many are sick!
Baseball and softball games have begun as well as Track & Field competitions. It has been cold up in the stands from some pictures I have seen! Next week is Spring Break for Chester County students. Maybe they will have nice weather!
Enville sends out Happy Birthday wishes to Jodie Christiansen on March 25, Nancy Freeman on March 28 and Easton Knight on March 30. Happy 71st Anniversary to D.B. And Pat Weatherington on March 30, this is a huge milestone and a blessing in their life. We wish you more blessed years together! We hope you all enjoy your special day.
On our prayer list this week is Janice and Danny Keen, Lisa Bishop, Agnes Smith, Mary Lee Guyon, Linda and Robert Johnson, Tera O’Neal, Harold and Janice Maness, Ann Pugh, Emily Freeman, Tim and Tabitha Hampton, Shirley Hampton, Della Mixon, Rick Ooley, Mike Pugh, Tim Harris, James Vinson, Loretta Plunk, Ashley Pugh, Jimmy Robertson, Kathy Emerson, Joann Fowler, Dot Smith, our firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, healthcare workers, military, schools and school board, those with COVID, those you may know who have lost loved ones and, as always, each other.
If you want to rent the community center, call Pat Cates at 688-5125, or if you have news to share, call me at 608-3058.
Have a blessed week everyone!
