Hello from Enville! I hope you all had a wonderful week. It is still wet and muddy around our place, and we had rain most of Monday. Tuesday was supposed to be mostly cloudy with a chance of frozen mix on Wednesday. We should have sunshine for the rest of the week. If you do not like the weather, just wait a few minutes, it will change!
The primary elections will be next Tuesday, March 3, at the Enville Community Center. Everyone please exercise your right to vote. Early voting has already ended. Go make sure your voice is heard! Due to the election, our Enville Community Club meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday night instead of the regular Tuesday night. Mark your calendar so you do not forget! There will be no school in Chester County on Election Day!
Danny and I enjoyed our little getaway last week. We visited with our friends Roger and Sue Henson in Advance, Mo., spent a little time in Branson, then went on to Mountain Home, Ark., and arrived home on Sunday evening. We saw some beautiful country and got a little R&R.
Enville sends out Happy Birthday wishes to Tyler Ooley on Feb. 28, Sue Harwell on March 4 and Eddie Walker, Jr. on March 5. Happy Anniversary to Lynn and Sarah Canaday on March 2. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
Please continue prayers for Agnes Smith, Linda and Christy Phillips, Jean Crowell, Jack and Tera O’Neal, Niecie Pearson, Jo Marie Holmes, Danny and Janice Keen, Mary Lee Guyon, Casey Pratt, Deb Finley, Harold and Janice Maness, Tim Harris, Ann Vanhoose, Steve Denbow, Martha Alexander, Dennis Harwell, Doris Weeks, Neal Brewer, Roger and Sue Henson, our country, community and, as always, each other. We had a night of prayer last week at Sanford Hill Baptist Church for our country and its leaders, our state and its leaders and our local Chester County leaders as well. We prayed for our schools and their leaders as well as our children. Prayers are powerful, and God hears!
If you have news to share, call me at 688-5129, or if you want to rent the community center, call Pat at 688-5125.
Have a blessed week everyone!
