Hello from Enville!  I hope everyone had a chance to get out on Sunday and enjoy the beautiful day. It was warm and sunny, but by night it had started thundering, lightening and raining.  I hope that when spring arrives on March 19 it brings with it warm temperatures and sunshine. I already am seeing budding trees and many buttercups, making me want to get outside and do something in the yard, like pick up sticks and get ready for the mowing season.
Another month has passed us by. Can you believe March is here already? Good news! Daylight Savings Time begins on Sunday, March 8, so do not forget to run your clock up one hour before you go to bed on Saturday night, or you will be late for church.  I love this time because it stays daylight longer in the afternoon. I can tell that the days are getting longer already.
Our Enville Volunteer Firefighters and Town Officials enjoyed a great meal and fellowship at their annual Appreciation Dinner at Hagy’s Catfish Restaurant in Shiloh on Tuesday night. We all had a wonderful time.  On Saturday night, Danny and I, Charlie and Annie enjoyed our meal there. We went to eat for Annie’s birthday. We had a great time together!
If you see these folks out and about, wish them a big happy birthday: Jimmy Robertson on March 6, Hallie Keen, Emily Weatherington and Jim Wade on March 8 and Campbell Grisham on March 10.  Happy anniversary to us, Danny and Jan Johnson, on March 8 and to Harold and Carolyn Wright on March 9.  We hope everyone enjoys their special day!
Please keep the prayers coming for Jean Crowell, Linda Phillips, Agnes Smith, Jack and Tera O’Neal, Mary Lee Guyon, Niecie Pearson, Jo Marie Holmes, Danny and Janice Keen, Christy Phillips, Casey Pratt, Deb Finley, Tim Harris, Harold and Janice Maness, Dennis Harwell, Ann Vanhoose, Steve Denbow, Doris Weeks, Martha Alexander, Neal Brewer, Roger and Sue Henson, those who have lost loved ones, our country and communities, our military, law enforcement, firefighters and first responders and, as always, each other.
If you want to rent the community center, call Pat at 688-5125, or if you have news to share, call me at 688-5129.  If you know anyone interested in the cafe in Enville, call Jackey Bethune, 608-6406.

Have a blessed week everyone!
