Hello from Enville! Hope you all are well. It is with a sad heart that I report that we have a Chester County Junior High staff member who is in ICU with the coronovirus. Let us all pray for this person to recover and pray for his family to get through this and be back together soon. We are all taking necessary steps to keep from spreading this virus, and our prayer is for God to help us and keep us healthy, so many prayers going up right now. I pray that this will pass very soon and that we can get our lives back to somewhat normal – all our businesses back open, our schools back in session for the rest of the year, graduating seniors have a graduation ceremony, ball season opens and everyone is well and worry free.
The sun was shining at the time of this writing, and I am so thankful. With everything going on right now, maybe the sunshine will lift our spirits and help us to feel better.
There are no activities to announce and probably will not be any for the next few weeks. Vacations for spring break have been cancelled. We were supposed to be in Gatlinburg right now. Kids’ birthday parties have been cancelled along with so many other activities.
Enville sends out Happy Birthday wishes to Steve Rickman on March 27 and Easton Knight Glover on March 30. Happy Anniversary to D.B. And Pat Weatherington on March 30. Hope you all enjoy your special day!
April Fool’s Day is next week, so do not let anyone get ahead of you. Be the first one to play an April Fool’s joke on your family member. Just remember to keep it fun and safe. Maybe it will bring a few laughs with it.
Please pray for the Price family, a church member of ours brother passed, continue praying for Jean Crowell, Linda and Christy Phillips, Jack and Tera O’Neal, Agnes Smith, Mary Lee Guyon, Niecie Pearson, Florence Stublaski, Deb Finley, Casey Pratt, Doris Weeks, Jo Marie Holmes, Harold and Janice Maness, Ann Vanhoose, Dennis Harwell, Tim Harris, Steve Denbow, Neal Brewer, Roger and Sue Henson, Todd Lewis, our nursing home families, military, firefighters, first responders, healthcare workers, those who have lost loved ones, all who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and, as always, each other.
If you have news to share, call me at 688-5129, or if you want to rent the community center, call Pat at 688-5125. Have a blessed week everyone, and may God bless and keep each of you!
