Hello from Enville! I hope everyone had a wonderful week. From what I hear, it was a hot and dry one. Our family was in the mountains all week. Our weather was not nearly as hot; it was overcast some days, which was fine by me. We did not get much rain at all. The kids kept us busy. We went white water rafting, which was a first for us. I was kinda skeptical at first, but it was fun. I would do it again although tubing was a little more my speed! The kids stayed in the pool a lot. We really had a great time.
I am glad the farmers got most or all of their crops planted. Maybe the rain we got this week will help them come up. I hope you all have good yields this year. It is a lot of work, and I am thankful for our farmers.
Another month is upon us. My goodness, how time is flying by. Half the year is almost gone and we are approaching another holiday.
Reece, Blake and Brayden are playing Dixie Youth ball. I am so glad they got to have a ball season. It is a shorter one, but I am just glad all the kids are getting to play. They sure were missing it!
The Enville United Methodist Church is having service again. It is only the 11 a.m. service for now, but Sunday School will begin sometime in July. I am happy to report that Linda Phillips was able to be in church Sunday. Everyone was so glad to see her. If you are not able to have services yet or are looking for a church, they invite everyone to join them. The Enville Community Club is meeting again. Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, July 7. If you are interested in our community, please join us at 6:30 p.m. at the community center. Come and enjoy a delicious potluck meal.
Enville sends out Happy Birthday wishes to Melinda Johnston and Melissa Holder (we all knew them as the Ritter twins) on June 26. Happy Anniversary to Larry and Anita Lambert on June 26 and Harold and Frankie Finley on July 2. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
Please continue to pray for Jean Crowell, Agnes Smith, Mary Lee Guyon, Niecie Pearson, Jack and Tera O’Neal, Lisa Bishop, Charlie Kent, Christy Phillips, Deb Finley, Casey Pratt, Harold and Janice Maness, Florence Stublaski, Jo Marie Holmes, Genny Sue Martin, Doris Weeks, Linda Phillips, Neal Brewer, Tim Harris, Ann Vanhoose, Dennis Harwell, Steve Denbow, Kristen Daniel and family, our first responders, firefighters, medical workers and law enforcement, those who have lost loved ones, those affected by the Covid 19 and, as always, each other.
If you want to rent the community center, call Pat at 688-5125, or if you have news or birthdays to share, call me at 688-5129. I would love to hear from you!

Everyone have a blessed week!
