Hello from Enville! I hope everyone had a great week! August just got here, and it is already half gone. We had a great Afirst week of school, and I hope you all did as well. We all are looking forward to a fun and safe year for all our students and teachers. We are busy with ball. Reece plays travel softball, and Blake and Brayden also play travel baseball. We will be involved with Junior High football and baseball and hopefully basketball. I am so glad our kids are active and love sports!
The Enville Community Club has cancelled our Wild Goose Shindig for this year; we will miss the fun and fellowship of our friends and neighbors, but we are planning it for next year! Our annual Birthday Calendar sales will begin soon. Someone will be contacting you if you normally buy one. This is our club’s biggest fundraiser. The club still meets at 6:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday night of each month. We would love to have you join us!
Happy birthday wishes go to Mike Mooney on Aug. 21, Anita Lambert on Aug. 24, Maxine Grisham on Aug. 26 and Theo Wade Weber on Aug. 27. Happy anniversary to Mike and Marilyn Mooney on Aug. 21 and Jeff and Lisa Finley on Aug. 26. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
Please continue prayers for Christy Phillips, Jean Crowell, Linda Phillips, Jack and Tera O’Neal, Harold and Janice Maness, Agnes Smith, Mary Lee Guyon, Janice Keen, Jo Marie Holmes, Florence Stublaski, Doris Weeks, Deb Finley, Casey Pratt, Brother Bill Evans, Lisa Bishop, Dean Hutcherson, Inez Cash, Imogene Hollin, Charlie Kent, Annie Massengill, Harold and Frankie Finley, Kristen Daniel, Genny Sue Martin, Tim Harris, Dennis Harwell, Ann Vanhoose, Wayne Bethune, all who have lost loved ones, our health care workers, first responders, firefighters, military families and schools and, as always, each other.
If you want to rent the community center, call Pat at 688-5125, or if you have news to share, call me at 688-5129.
Have a blessed week everyone!
