Hello from Enville! I hope everybody had a great week. We are having some awesome weather, loving these temperatures even in November. Actually, we are enjoying a fall, which we have not had in a few years. It usually goes from hot to cold, so I hope everyone is soaking it up because cold tempeartures are on their way! November is moving right along, and our next holiday is coming quick. Thanksgiving is Nov. 26. I absolutely love everything about Thanksgiving – the decorations, food, family and the thankfulness for all we have been blessed with. I know the COVID-19 will keep some families apart, and we pray for you. It is sad when we have to spend holidays away from those we love, but prayerfully, this will be over soon and we can all be back together.
The Enville Community Club sends out a big thank you to all veterans and seniors who came to make our annual dinner and program a success and a fun time. To all veterans who have served and are serving, we thank you for your service!
Mrs. Inez Cash wants to thank everyone for their calls, visits, food and mostly prayers while she was sick. She is feeling better, and we are very happy to hear that!
Happy birthday wishes go to Logan Robertson on Nov. 14, Brian O’Neal on Nov. 15, Danny Johnson on Nov. 16 (who shared a birthday with his mother), Nelson Crowell on Nov. 17, Bobby O’Neal on Nov. 18 and Frances Willis on Nov. 19. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
Please pray for Robert Smith, Agnes Smith, Mary Lee Guyon, Janice Keen, Florence Stublaski, Deb Finley, Casey Pratt, Doris Weeks, Jean Crowell, Linda and Robert Johnson, Lisa Bishop, Amanda Johnson,Jo Marie Holmes, Jack and Tera O’Neal, Harold and Janice Maness, Inez Cash, Imogene Hollin,Genny Sue Martin, Dean Hutcherson, Loretta Plunk, Paulette Pugh, Brother Bill Evans, Wayne Bethune, Jimmy Robertson, Janet Scott, Tim Harris, Kristen Daniel, Dwayne Seaton, Jr., Jamie Dilday, those who have lost loved ones, those affected by the virus, our firefighters, first responders, law enforcement and healthcare workers and, as always, each other. May God touch each one with his healing hand, physically and spiritually.
