Hello from Enville! I hope everyone had a great week. We are loving this spring weather. I have a hummingbird feeder up and am ready for the scouts to find us and bring all the others back this year. I suppose everyone is having a fun and safe Spring Break from school. Sunday, March 28, is Palm Sunday, which marks the beginning of Holy Week that will end on Easter Sunday. Palm Sunday is when we Christians celebrate the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, one week before his death and resurrection. You can read about this in all four Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
Please pray for Tim Hampton, me (cataract surgery), Jean Crowell, Agnes Smith, Mary Lee Guyon, Janice and Danny Keen, Florence Stublaski, Deb Finley, Casey Pratt, Doris Weeks, Linda and Robert Johnson, Lisa Bishop, Amanda Johnson, Jack and Tera O’Neal, Harold and Janice Maness, Jo Marie Holmes, Wanda Ellis, Jimmy Robertson, Loretta Plunk, Tim Harris, Genny Sue Martin, Carolyn Wright, our firefighters, first responders, law enforcement and healthcare workers and, as always, each other.
Happy birthday to Kevin Essary on March 26, Steve Blackstock on March 27, Nanacy Freeman on March 28, Easton Knight on March 30 and Larry Blackstock on March 31. Happy Anniversary to DB and Pat Weatherington on March 30. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
Congratulations to Parker Herndon on passing his test and becoming an Emergency Medical Responder. We are very proud of you and your accomplishments.
If you have news, call me at 688-5129, or if you want to rent the community center, call Pat at 688-5125. Have a blessed week everyone!
