Hello from Enville! I hope everyone had a great week. It has been pretty cold, but this week is in the 70s, which is nice. I will take it any day. I hope you all are adjusting to the time change. Personally, I do not care for it. The reason being is that it gets dark so early, and the nights seem so long. The upside is that we will stay home more in the evenings and go to bed earlier at night. There is something good in everything. Sometimes we just have to look for it! Football is over now. Chester County went to the playoffs on Friday in Tullahoma. We did not bring home a win, but our team played a good game. Travel softball is over for the season, so we have Chester County Junior High School basketball. Our granddaughter, Reece, plays on that team. Plus, she will play some on the youth basketball team, which is played on Saturday mornings. We love basketball, and it is in a warm environment!
I would like to thank all veterans for their service and sacrifice to us and our country. Also thanks to their families who also sacrificed so much. Thanks again! Thanksgiving is fast approaching. I love this holiday. It is all about family and food. I am always so ready for turkey, ham, dressing and all the trimmings. It is a special day to pause and give thanks for all we have. I know we are thankful each and every day, but with our busy lives, we may forget to say, “Thank you,” for the blessings in our life.
Happy Birthday wishes go to Logan Robertson and Jason Cherry on Nov. 14, Brian O’Neal on Nov. 15, Danny Johnson on Nov. 16, Sydney Cherry and Nelson Crowell on Nov. 17 and Bobby O’Neal on Nov. 18. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
