Hello from Enville! I hope everyone had a happy and safe New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day!
I do not know about you, but I am ready for my days to get back to normal. I have not known what day it was for some time now. School got back in session on Tuesday, so maybe that will help us get on schedule. I hope everyone had a great holiday vacation and are ready to get back to learning.
I have still been seeing some Christmas decorations here and there, and they are still pretty, but we have all of ours put away for a year! I have already started seeing Valentine’s candy and decor in the stores. Boy, we barely get over one before another is here. I am sure this year will pass as fast as last year did.
Enville sends out Happy Birthday wishes to Kay Swafford and Harold Maness on Jan. 8 and Happy Anniversary to John and Melissa Harris on Jan. 10. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
Our hearts are so heavy now with so many having COVID-19. It is raging everywhere. I am praying that the vaccine will help soon and that we can see a down turn in cases and deaths. God is still in control, and we just keep praying. Please pray for the families of Christy Pugh, Jean Hudson and Michael Fawbush and continue praying for Agnes and Robert Smith, Jean Crowell, Linda and Robert Johnson, Deb Finley, Casey Pratt, Florence Stublaski, Doris Weeks, Jo Marie Holmes, Mary Lee Guyon, Danny and Janice Keen, Jack and Tera O’Neal, Harold and Janice Maness, Lisa Bishop, Dean Hutcherson, Amanda Johnson, Jimmy Robertson, Genny Sue Martin, Inez Cash, Loretta Plunk, Tim Harris, Billy and Joan Massey, Chelsey Robinson, Wayne Bethune, Joann Jones, Pastor Jim Osborne, our firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, healthcare workers, those who have lost loved ones and, as always, each other.
If you have news to share or want to add anyone to the prayer list, call me at 688-5129. I have decided to keep our landline. If you want to rent the community center, call Pat at 688-5125.
Have a safe and blessed week everyone!
