Hello to my family and friends.
It is good to be with you on another day. I hope each and every one of you had a wonderful blessed week. For this is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it! Well, the first month of 2021 has come and is almost gone. You know so many were wondering what it would bring for the future. Will it be better than 2020 or worse? You know what? It depends on us, the people. We need to keep our trust in the Lord. On our money we have “IN GOD WE TRUST.” According to 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
On Jan. 24, there was a parade of cars and a party going on for a person that we all know. He is a pioneer here in Henderson! He is a business man! He is a dad, uncle, granddad and a friend to so many! He celebrated a wonderful birthday that his family provided for him. Mr. Clarence Harris turned 90 years young! It was a wonderful surprise and celebration. We pray the Lord will bless you with many more. Thank you, family, for giving Mr. Clarence a wonderful birthday!
On a sad note, please keep the Walker and Croom family in your prayers. Tyson Walker and his father James Walker have united once again. Tyson passed way one month after his father on the same date. The Lord does not make a mistake. Roma Croom, the City of Henderson sends condolences out to the entire family.
What is a friend? Someone you can always count on. Someone who will stop what they are doing to help you; someone who will give or go get what you may need. This person did so much for many here in the city of Henderson. She will be missed but not forgotten. To the family of Ms. Patricia Harville, no one can prepare you for a loss; it comes like a swift wind. However, take comfort in knowing that she is now resting in the arms of our Lord. Our deepest condolences to you and your family. We are praying for you.
To the family of Karen Hart Price, our condolences go out to you. Our dear loved one may be gone, but she will not be forgotten! One day, we will see each other again. Please continue to pray for the family!
HAPPY belated birthday to Kitty Kemp, one of Chester County’s foster grandmother, on Jan. 10. Pray that you have many more,
The City would like to take this time to wish all of our loved ones in the Nursing Home who had a birthday this week a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
On the prayer list this week: Mr. George Bishop, Mr. Bill Jewell, children in the schools, teachers and our men and women who are serving our country.
Remember to patronize with our local businesses here in town; let is try to support our own as much as we can.
