Monday was a beautiful day. I put on my walking shoes and took a walk with my dogs, Ruger and Buddy. Although it sounds like I am being healthy, do not be fooled. Later, I had a Caramel Frappe with three cookies. SO GOOD!
Cliff Hanna celebrated his 90th birthday surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, Nov. 16, at the HCC. He enjoyed his special day.
The community is sorry to hear about Bill Morrison’s bad luck. His cotton picker burned up one day last week while he was harvesting his cotton in Hickory Corner. Hopefully he will be able to get his cotton harvested soon.
HCC members, please mark your calendars for 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, for a meeting at our center. We will be cleaning and decorating the center for Christmas. We will also be planning our annual Christmas party. Please come help out and share your ideas.
Our HCC Christmas Party will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14. Festivities will begin at 5 p.m. More details will be coming in the next few weeks.
Prayers are requested for Nelson Weaver on Nov. 21. Also prayers for Kathleen Weaver Mullins who is in recovery.
