Mister Rogers said, “Sometimes we get to change a broken world with our words.” It has been called to my attention that it would be helpful to inform if we come down with the virus. We need to know if we have been in contact with that person. We can be tested soon to lessen the condition. Staying home 14 days or what the doctor suggest might save our family and friends from the virus. It is not a disgrace to have the virus! We are simply practicing prevention.
The “C-Virus” is increasing. Numbers show we are NOT protecting others well enough. We stayed at count 12 — now the current count is 81. This is NOT good, but we can help one another through the Grace of God, common old horse sense and love and respect for one another. How often do medical staff have to announce to stay at home unless you work, need essentials or have necessary appointments?
Pray for our leaders, our dear U.S.A. and other countries. We are in serious troubled times. Our forefathers fought for the FREEDOMS we have today. The Constitution shall be a government of the people, by the people and for the people. We must do our share. Will it take a Chester County death to get one’s attention? “Air-hugging” six feet apart done with love and a soft smile makes a good point. There WILL BE a vaccine developed for this virus, but until we receive it, do not gamble with your or other lives. Satan is everywhere. “The only thing evil can’t stand is forgiveness.”
Speaking as “Mayor of Jacks Creek,” don’t you agree we should wear our masks at local businesses – Dollar General; C&R Grocery; Siler’s Old Time BBQ; Jacks Creek BBQ; Jacks Creek Post Office? Of course, in Henderson there are local businesses we patronize, and they deserve the same respect. I think a sign (MASK REQUIRED) should be obvious at the entrance, and if someone scuffs at the sign — employees can simply ask them to return with a mask. Groceries delivered to the car is great, so thank store owners for helping us stay safer. I am thankful to live in a small good community where most people show respect to one another. In time it will be another good day in the neighborhood.
I looked up this beautiful information – “What is the meaning of God Bless America? It is “Used as an expression of appreciation and gratitude to America and its people for the opportunity to live and work there.” (Random House Dictionary of Popular Proverbs and Sayings by Gregory Y. Titelman, Random House, New York, 1996).What are the lyrics to God Bless America by Irving Berlin? God bless America, land that I love/Stand beside her and guide her/Through the night with the light from above/From the mountains to the prairies/To the oceans white with foam/God bless America, my home sweet home/God bless America, land that I love/Stand beside her and guide her/Through the night with the light from above/From the mountains to the prairies/To the oceans white with foam/God bless America, my home sweet home/From the mountains to the prairies/To the oceans white with foam/God bless America, my home sweet home/God bless America, my home sweet home. What does the Bible say about bless the nation? Genesis 12:2-3 2 – “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” Psalm 33:12 12 – “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He chose for His inheritance.” Isaiah 60:12 12 – “For the nation or kingdom that will not serve you will perish; it will be utterly ruined.”

2020 VISION – To Don on our 50th anniversary, “Every Love Story is Beautiful, but ours is my favorite.”
