Tidbit: “Jingle Bells” was actually written for Thanksgiving; “White Christmas” by Bing Crosby in 1942 is the most popular song.

A correction again! Japan attacked Pearl Harbor Dec. 7, 1941. World War II ended officially Sept. 2, 1945. Figure out the time or choose – (three years, eight months and 26 days); (1,365 days); or (117,936,000 seconds). Think about those serving WWII or loved ones back home – EVERY SECOND COUNTED! All answers are correct; plus the USA and its Allies won WWII. Pray for our military – every second still counts. God bless the U.S.A.
Dear Pandemic Parents and Friends, can you recall these 10 games played in the 30’s through the 70’s? 7-Up; Hide ‘n Seek; Drop the Hanky; London Bridges; Relay Race; Dodge ball; Simon Says; Hop-Scotch; Duck-Duck-Goose; and Red Rover. If you answered yes – use this time to teach your children while making a lasting memory. Mary Randolph Curtis, Barbara Scott Rhodes and I recalled these games. Call with others. Call 989-7485.
2020 VISION – In these moments time stood still while the clock was ticking toward midnight….then Santa’s sleigh lands on the roof to make children happy with wish list gifts. Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. Actually, there is a Santa in every home…Ho-Ho-Ho
