Get ready for another “BIG Country Breakfast” from 7-10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Montezuma Community Center. We will have homemade biscuits, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, gravy and drinks all for $6 per plate. There will also be some baked goods for sale. Come early for the best selection. These funds are used for the cost of operating our community center.
Montezuma sends out happy birthday wishes to Becky Monks on Jan. 23 and Ray Wells and Madison Cook on Jan. 29.
Please continue to pray for Sandra Lott, Nancy Thomas, A J Sutberry, Ed and Betty Morris, Evie Lee Sanders, our Country and our Government. Please be in prayer for the families of Tony Wayne Cupples, Larry Byrd, Willie Mae Hailey and other families that have recently lost loved ones.
We would love to have some new people get involved in working with us at the community center. Please call me at 608-2857 if you would like to join in. Please call Betty Cooper at 879-9078 to book the use of the community center. Please send any noteworthy news you have to share in this column to gaylecox@bellsouth.net or call me at 608-2857.
Blessings to all of you until next time.
