We all thought this virus would be gone by now, and yet it continues. God has a plan in all things, and I trust he knows when is best for us to be finished with it, but I still hope and pray it is soon.
Please continue to pray daily for all those affected by the COVID and their families. Chester County has definitely felt the bite from it, but if everyone continues to do their part in mask wearing, hand sanitizing, social distancing and avoiding large gatherings, we will hopefully get through this before too much longer. I am past ready for our lives to get back to a more normal state, and I am sure all of you are, too!
Montezuma sends out happy birthday wishes to Billy Priddy on Jan. 20 and Becky Monks on Jan. 24.
With so much unrest in our country, I pray that each of you believers will be praying continually for the situation, our government and salvation for the lost. Please pray for Rita Weaver, Mary Morgan Robinson, Elaine Patterson, Jimmy Ruth, Mike Clayton, Mary Lou Weir Warren, Wayne Monks, Sr., Brenda Ada, Vicki Rush, Kristen Daniel, Faye Crouse, Nancy Thomas, Ed and Betty Morris, Ann Morrison, Healthcare Workers and Law Enforcement. We especially want to remember the families of Shirlene Gregory Lyles, Laura Jane Miller, Louise Flowers Rowland, Rev. Jimmy Ray Osborn, Debby Holman Flatt, Lawrence Johnson and other families that have recently lost loved ones.
Please call Betty Cooper at 879-9078 to book the use of the community center.
