Praying that your Christmas memories made with family will be lasting ones. Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year! I think most of you would agree that we are praying for a better year ahead and that the COVID pandemic will subside. Sorry that I missed out on the last couple of editions. I have been sick and not up to writing.
Montezuma sends out happy belated birthday wishes to Marsha Barclay on Dec. 23, Erin Fontana on Dec. 25, Micah Cook and Todd Naylor on Dec. 26, Brandon Thomas and Marylin Davis on Dec. 27, Luke and Ian Fuqua on Dec. 28 and Billy Joe VanCleave on Dec. 29. Montezuma sends out happy birthday wishes to Linda Jones on Jan 1 and Marvin Jones on Jan. 5.
With so much unrest in our country, I pray that each of you believers will be praying continually for our government and salvation for the lost. Please pray for the recent tornado victims, Richard Atkins, Martha Cooper, Jake Richardson, Ashley Pugh, Billy Austin, Jake Holt Burkhead, Faye Morrison, Joyce Beecham, Doug Thomas, Tavish and Lachlan Cox, Ann Morrison, Jessie Pugh, Faye Crouse, Ed and Betty Morris, healthcare workers and law enforcement. We especially want to remember the families of Clarence Bishop Wells, Lucille Scheele, Bobby “Cigar” Smith, Sarah Ann Hicks, Caitlynn Smith, Bileene Hemby, Thelma Davidson, Ted Lingren and other families that have recently lost loved ones.
Please call Betty Cooper at 879-9078 to book the use of the community center.
