Hello to all from this little corner of the world. The skies were blue, and the sun was out on Sunday. The temperature was 66 with an expected high of 78. YAY! I hope everyone made it through the storms Friday night. The winds were scary a few times. Thankfully, we were spared. Unfortunately, Rolling Forks, Miss., was not as fortunate. A tornado destroyed many structures and lives were lost that night. Please pray for all who were affected by this intense weather.
We enjoyed Saturday afternoon with friends. We played cards, talked, ate and played another round of cards. They have a sweet furbaby named Bandit. He is about the age of our furbaby, and he has a couple of health issues, but he has great parents and is a sweet, well behaved boy. This friendship is remarkable! We met when they began playing cards at the community center we go to. They later invited us to play at their home, and the rest is history. We enjoy and appreciate this friendship. God works in mysterious ways. He knows what is best for us. Thankful!
Well, the Chester County schools are out this week, and it looks like they will have marvelous weather during their Spring Break. I hope everyone enjoys the week and goes back happy and refreshed. It will not be long before you are out for the summer.
The weather for the next 10 days forecasts highs in the 60s and 70s and lows in the 40s with a chance of rain next Friday. We shall wait and see how it all turns out. Enjoy your week!
Condolences to all who have lost loved ones.

“Things usually happen the way they’re supposed to. Oftentimes, rejection is redirection; closed doors are protecting you from what’s lurking around the corner. Plans fall through, because better things are coming in. The wrong people pass by, because the right ones are moving closer. Adopting this mindset sets you free. It will liberate you from living in the past and rescue you from ruminating over all the things that didn’t happen the way you had hoped they would. Remember my friend; things usually happen exactly the way they’re supposed to.” – Brianna Wiest/PowerofWordz

People from here and those who have moved from our area but still want to keep in touch through the newspaper are hungry for news from home. Until next week, Happy Trails to You.
