Hello to all! The skies were gray, and there was an occasional gust of wind blowing on Sunday. We have had a lot of birds visiting; we have had many cardinals, warblers and wrens, and James saw five red headed woodpeckers at one time. We enjoyed seeing the snow fall, but the ice was rough. We were without power for a couple of hours at midnight. We did okay sleeping under the covers, but I did think of the workers repairing things. Thanks to S.W.E. for their endeavors to make sure we have electricity. Please stay safe this winter as you work. You are needed by ALL!
Mother Nature is sure having fun swinging. It rained a lot Saturday night and Sunday morning, and the temperatures Sunday night were around 25.
I hope everyone will be prepared for some slick spots. The temperatures for the next 10 days are projected to be in the 40s and 50s with lows mostly in the 30s.
There are a couple of days with rain predicted but no snow. It is hard to work in hot or cold weather. Please remember the pets outside. Dogs are not like cattle and horses, and all need shelter.
We watched the Titans play this afternoon, and it was a tight game, but they won. Happy for them; they have come a long way. It seems the older I get, the more I like football – lol. The Steelers won by three points in overtime against Baltimore. We are looking forward to the Alabama game Monday night.
There are so many sick people. They are sick with COVID or the Delta or Omicron variants, pneumonia, flu and now Flurona, which is having the flu and COVID at the same time. We do not go out much and continue to practice social distancing, wear a mask and use antibacterial gel.
I am seeing more wearing masks now. People continue to gather for games and other things, but maybe now that the holidays are over and flights are down, the numbers will begin to decrease. Please think of yourself and others. If you have not had the vaccine, at least wear a mask and social distance. It could be your loved one infected. Many are having to miss work and no pay equals problems, too. Hopefully, you will not end up in the hospital with an astronomical bill if you make it through the illness. Just be safe. It is overwhelming to hear of all this, but I tell myself to remember God is in charge. I am asking everyone to please pray for God to end this virus. It will end when He ends it.

Please say a prayer for those; even if you do not know their name, God does. Prayer is not an obligation; it is the greatest privilege we have. Pray yourself through each day.
