As April comes to a close, I share this poem from Ogden Nash that highlights the multifaceted sides of April:
“Praise the spells and bless the charms,
I found April in my arms.
April golden, April cloudy,
Gracious, cruel, tender, rowdy;
April soft in flowered languor,
April cold with sudden anger,
Ever changing, ever true —
I love April, I love you.”
Silerton Baptist church will hold their annual decoration day Sunday, May 1, following worship. Come enjoy the traditional potluck lunch.
Remember in prayer Mrs. Bessie Harris as she adjusts to her new residence at the nursing home in Henderson.
Please also remember Larry Lambert as he recovers from a recent surgery.
Have a great week!
