Hoping everyone had a nice President’s Day and perhaps got a long weekend!
This week’s article was written by Mary Lynn Lambert.
Linda (Hatch) Russell shares how thankful she is to have her nephew, Charles Lynn Hatch, living in her mother’s (Sue Hatch) house. She related that when her mom and her brother, Roger, passed the home place seemed so lonely. She then expressed how much life he has brought back into the home.
“I think it was hard for him at first. When we were putting up the Christmas tree. He stated that he felt like he was home. Mike Hatch is happy to have him next door.”
Linda also notes that Charles Lynn has always been such an intelligent young man and can always make people laugh. Even though he was born with some disabilities, he never let that bother him. He can play the piano and never had a lesson. When he was younger, he would put on shows and pantomimed a lot of songs. He performed in one of the Arts Council shows once and everyone loved him. Linda said she knows he is a Christian and loves God. Her mother would be so proud to know he is living on Hatch Lane. Linda looks forward to days ahead so she can spend more time with him and Mike and make special memories.
