Clarence Harris – June 24, 2024
Clarence Harris, 93, of Henderson, passed away at home on Wednesday, June 24, 2024.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 6, at the Estes Church of Christ. Brother Carlton Salfarlie will be officiating. The burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. The visitation will begin at 11 a.m. The family hour will begin at noon.
He was the son of Sanford Harris and Lucille Ross Harris.
He worked many years for Morgan Furniture Store and Funeral Home until the burning of the store. He started his own moving business part time out of a pickup truck until his business grew, adding larger trucks grew into a full time business. He was a man of many talents: painting, woodwork, clean ups, recycling, and moving. His saying anything to make a dollar.
He is survived by daughters, Linda Harris and Ethel Croom of Henderson and Phyllis Smith of Indiana; sons, Clarence D. Harris of Murfreesboro and Bobby Harris of Henderson; and five generations.
STEVEN BRYANT – Aug. 13, 1992 – June 28 , 2024
Steven Phillip Bryant, 31, of Medon passed away Friday, June 28, 2024, at Bethel Springs.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 11, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue Chapel in Henderson with Bishop Douglas Carter officiating.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday.
He was born Aug. 13, 1992 in Memphis.
