PARKER LAKE Obituary – Oct. 31, 2013 – Jan. 12, 2023

Parker G. Lake, 9, of Henderson passed away Jan. 12, 2023, at Monroe Carroll, Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel. Burial followed at New Friendship Cemetery. The family received friends from 5-8 p.m. Monday at East Main and from noon-2 p.m. Tuesday.
He was born in Nashville Oct. 31, 2013, son of Dale G. Lake, Jr. and April Patricia Lake.
He was a second grader at East Chester Elementary School in Henderson. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, video games and loved Trailer Park Boys television show. He enjoyed riding his RZR and spending time with his best buddy “Colt G. Lake” (his yellow lab).
He also loved hanging out with his friends and family and telling them stories about his imaginary grandson Johnny, riding his Pappy’s boat and his Papa’s golf cart.
In addition to his loving family, he was greatly loved by many including the local police and Sheriff’s Departments, the staff and doctors at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and his work family at AMS.
He is survived by his mother, April Lake of Henderson; father, Dale G. (fiancée Krystle Jordan) Lake, Jr. of Toone;  brother, Dylan Ramsey; two sisters, Kayla Ramsey and Emma Lake; paternal grandparents, Dale, Sr. and Pati Lake of Henderson and David and Cheryl Goodman of Toone; maternal grandparents, Ron and Tina Brown of Henderson; uncles, Corey Lake, Nile Lake, D.J. Shores, Fred Lake, Curtis Hopper, Rob Brown and Jesse Brown and Dave Jordan; aunts, Alexys Hopper, Tasha Shores, Sunni Lake, and Lindsey Jordan; great aunts and uncles, Vince and Debbie Berkes, David and Tracy Brown, Jeff and Dawn Kliensmith, Dirk and Laurie Lake, David and Joanne Miller, Dane and Tracy Lake and Cindy Brensinger; nephew, Myles Ramsey; and best friend, Gabriel Pollock.
