Pauline Kinchen Lott, 93, of Henderson passed away Jan. 27, 2021 at her granddaughter’s home.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Hunter Pusser officiating. Burial followed in Henderson City Cemetery. The family received friends at Crook Avenue from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday.
She was born Jan. 11, 1928 in Chester County near Sweetlips, the daughter of the late Lewis Brodie and Jennie Beatrice Boyd Kinchen. She attended Chester County Schools and married Carl Lott in 1946. She had made her home in Henderson all of her life. She worked at Salant & Salant a few months until the factory closed. She had done sitter work at Jackson General and was a foster grandmother at East Chester Elementary, and she also did volunteer work at Jackson General Hospital. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Williams of Henderson; two grandchildren, Emily Dukes of Reagan and Thomas Williams of Humboldt; a great-grandchild, Whitney Rachel Greve; and two sisters, Lois Bauer of Jackson and Nola Felix of Michigan.
She was preceded in death by a son, Randy Lane Lott in 1987; three brothers, Joe Kinchen, Royce Kinchen and L.B. Kinchen, Jr.; and two sisters, Ruth Dunn and Louise Terry.
