Randy Alan Miller, 63, of Henderson passed away Saturday morning, April 17, 2021 at his home in Henderson after battling a long illness. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 24, at Shackelford Funeral Directors Crook Avenue Chapel with Bro. Ken Frye, Kyle Patterson and Terry Hearn officiating. There will be a private burial at Clarks Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon-2 p.m. Saturday April 24.
He was born and reared in Chester County, the son of Dorothy Jane Maness Miller and the Late L. T. Miller. He graduated from Chester County High School in 1976. He started working for his father in the machine shop working on motor heads and later radiators. He attended vocational tech school at Crump where he graduated in tool and die in 2008. That same year he became sick and never got to pursue his career in tool and die. He loved to collect a little of everything and loved fishing and Bluegrass music. He was a Baptist and attended Faith Fellowship.
He is survived by a son, Brandon (Hannah) Miller; one sister, Sherry (Danny) Tolley; a brother, Henry (Teresa) Miller; his mother, Dorothy Maness Miller; caregiver and best friend Tammy Jones, the love of his life; and his little dog, Lucy.
He was preceded in death by his father, L. T. Miller; a son, Cody Miller; and one grandson, Colby Miller both in 2010.
