After a half-hour of Meet and Greet time concurrent with inspiring patriotic music, the scheduled quarterly meeting of the Chester County Republican Party came to order on Monday, December 16, 2019 on time at 6:30 PM at Henderson City Hall upstairs, 121 Crook Avenue in Henderson. Many of the County’s leading Republicans were also in attendance.
A brief business meeting was conducted to bring all concerned citizens up to speed on what the Chester County Republican Party is doing, especially with preparations for the 2020 elections. One highlight was the announcement date of the 2020 Republican Caucus – to be held on Monday evening, March 16, 2020 at Henderson City Hall – to select Republicans to run in the November elections.
At the conclusion of the business meeting, the Annual Auction was held as the final fundraiser of the year. An excellent auctioneer, who asked to remain anonymous,
conducted a raucous and often humorous auction of the many items donated to the Chester County GOP. One highlight was the auctioning off of a duet, including Mr. Frank Bell and Mr. Carroll Priddy, singing “Amazing Grace”. At the conclusion of the auction, the Vice Treasurer, Mr. Stark Davis, announced that $1,543.00 had been raised. All the money will be spent in 2020 in Chester County to identify, train and elect Republicans at all levels of local, state, and national levels.
The next quarterly meeting is planned for Monday evening, March 16, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council chambers at Henderson City Hall.
