Rickey Monroe Hearn, 64, of Henderson died at his home in Henderson on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019.
Funeral Services were 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec, 8, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Henderson – Crook Avenue Chapel with Clint Burkhead and Matthew Hearn officiating.
Burial was in the New Home Baptist Church Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 6, 1955, son of the late Willard Monroe and Dorothy Sue Wade Hearn. He was born and raised on “Hearn Hill” in Chester County and was a 1973 graduate of Chester County High School. He married Debbie Maness on Aug. 25, 1973, and they made their home on Hearn Hill.
He was a simple man. He was a farmer, row cropping and raising cattle and hogs. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and making sausage. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie; three sons, Jason (Kim) Hearn, Deven Hearn and Matthew (Amanda) Hearn, all of Henderson; three grandchildren, Hunter and Eli Hearn and Faith (Zach) Jones; a great-grandson, Ryder Jones; a brother, Michael (Lisa) Hearn of Paris, Ky.; two sisters, Judy (Rick) Grotluschen of Labadie, Mo., and Paula Burrows of Germantown.
