Rosalene Knipper Obituary – June 13, 1932 – sept. 15, 2022

Rosalene Knipper, 90, of Henderson passed away Sept. 15, 2022 at her home surrounded by loved ones.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, Shackleford Funeral Directors- Crook Avenue Chapel with Deacon Bob Russell officiating. Burial followed in Bethel Cemetery.
The family received friends at Crook Avenue Chapel from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Monday.
She was born June 13, 1932 at Woodville in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Otis Henry and Ophia Myrtle (Hatch) Hill. She met her life-long love, William Curtis Knipper, at the age of 17. They were married shortly after in Corinth, Miss., on Oct. 1, 1950. They settled down and started their family in the Deanburg Community in Chester County. She began worked in the restaurant business at Hornsby and at Toone, at Pinson Tree Nursery and in housekeeping at Jackson General Hospital.
She was a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church.
She was survived by her two sons, Joe (Cindy Harrison) Knipper of Florence, Ala., and Mark (Angie) Knipper of Henderson; five grandchildren; two brothers, Lloyd and James Hill both of Heber Springs, Ark.; sisters, Bernice Dellingham of Bolivar, Nanie Faye Williams of Memphis, Betty Jo Mantely of Ripley, Miss., Frances Kocher of Frenceyburg, Ohio, and Judy McCage of Sommerville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mary Alice Mosier and Elsie Lousie Rutherford; and two brothers Wilford and Ogene Hill.
