Sharon Clayton Henson, 88, of Henderson passed away July 28, 2022 at Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Saturday, July 30, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Bro. Anthony Rowland officiating. Burial followed in Woodville Cemetery.
She married Jimmy Darwyn Henson on Sept. 17, 1954, and they made their home in Memphis.
They returned to Henderson in 1971, and they purchased the Ford Tractor Dealership and operated as Mullins-Henson Ford Tractor and then Henson Tractor, Inc. to the present time. In addition to being a business owner, she also served as bookkeeper.
She served on the Chester County Library Board that helped raise the funds to build the Library on Main Street. She also served on the Bicentennial Committee. She was an excellent seamstress.

She was an active member of Palestine Baptist Church and had served as a Sunday School Teacher wherever they lived.
She loved her family and her home was the gathering place for immediate and extended family during Christmas and Thanksgiving. She loved taking family group pictures.
She is survived by a son, Daryl (Mona) Henson of Adamsville; two daughters, Cathy (C.E.) Allen of Saltillo and Lorrie (Philip) Butler of Henderson; six grandchildren, Blake Butler, Whitney Blankenship, Matthew Butler, Melissa Perry, Jason Allen and Patrick Taggart; six great-grandchildren, Ella Rose Butler, William Butler, Claudia Allen, Cason Allen, Cambree Allen and Bobby Perry; and one brother, Larry (Judy) Clayton and wife Judy of Germantown.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Lisa Henson Taggart; one grandson, Samuel Taggart; and a sister, Elaine Bolton.
