Richard and Rita Crowley enjoyed their trip to Texas to visit their daughter. 
Silerton Baptist Church will host a Christmas party at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16. Bring a gift to play dirty Santa and enjoy an evening of fun and games and finger foods. 
Piney Grove Baptist Church will present a Christmas cantata at 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 24. The cantata will be the main service. 
Steve and Linda (Hatch) Russell had three children to graduate from college. 
Alayna, daughter of Tony and Kelly Russell, graduated from Jackson State with a degree in Applied Science. She will be working at the Magnolia Hospital in Corinth, Miss. 
Clay Dixon, son of Rodney and Lisa Dixon, graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee in Martin with a bachelor’s degree in Science Natural resources Management. His future plans are still undecided. 
Ali Anne Russell, Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Greg Russell graduated from Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson with a degree in Nursing. She also will be employed at the Magnolia Hospital in Corinth, Miss.
